I’m Rita Lin, CPA, and the founder of Lin Accounting & Advisory, a Melbourne-based accounting practice built on real commercial experience and genuine care.
With more than a decade of experience across media, marketing, financial services, technology, manufacturing, and hospitality, I’ve worked with organisations of all sizes, managing finance functions, supporting senior leadership teams, and improving financial processes.
Throughout my career, I’ve stepped into senior finance roles, supported businesses through busy periods, and led finance system improvements that made day-to-day operations more efficient and accurate. I enjoy bringing clarity and structure to the numbers, but what I value most is helping people gain confidence and feel more in control of their business.

I understand finance from the ground up. I began my career in hands-on roles, including bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and system operations before progressing into senior accounting positions. That practical experience allows me to understand both the day-to-day challenges of running a business and the bigger financial picture.
